Who is the Doctor?
Dr. Kirsten Franke graduated from veterinary school in 1996. Over her 20+ year career, she has worked in several small animal practices and as a shelter veterinarian at both Fox Valley Humane Association and the Oshkosh Area Humane Society. She formed ReadySetVet® in 2013 with the goal of providing gentle in-home care. Dr. Franke believes that the most loving way to say goodbye to your pet when it's time is a peaceful euthanasia where he or she is most comfortable... at home on a comfy blanket or outside in a favorite spot, with you at their side.
What are the advantages of a house call?
A house call provides convenience to you and is often less stressful to your pet. House calls eliminate the stress of a car ride, time spent in a waiting room, and can often be made same day. In-home euthanasia allows for a more relaxed atmosphere, the option to have friends and family there for support, privacy to grieve, and the opportunity for other pets in the household to say goodbye. Dr. Franke treats your pet as she would her own.
